CHOCOLATE MELTS in warm weather!!!
We realize that this is not exactly news, but it is with this in mind that we have the following policies:
- Warm Weather/Climates: When ordering during the warm weather months and/or to warm climates (temperatures of 70 degrees and higher) you must choose Overnight Next Day Air and pay the additional $5.00 costs for insulated packaging. If we receive an order where the temperature at the destination is more than 70 degrees we will upgrade the shipping to Overnight Next Day Air and charge the difference to the credit card used. If we feel the wrong shipping method was selected, we will email you. If you fail to respond within 24 hours, we will assume that you do not wish to change the shipping method. We will not replace chocolate products due to weather related issues (melting or blooming) unless you have chosen Overnight Next day Air shipping method with insulated packaging.
- Signature Required: All deliveries require that a person will be available to sign for and accept the package. We are not responsible if the recipient has a signature release waiver on file and the package is lost after it was delivered.
- NO P.O. Boxes: We will not ship to post office boxes.
- Business Address Preferred: We suggest delivery to a business address over a residential address if possible.
Refunds/Exchange: We will gladly exchange a product if you received the incorrect product or the product is defective. We do not offer refunds for any custom orders (i.e. wedding favors, corporate gifts, etc.)
We do not replace chocolate products that have melted unless you have chosen Overnight Next Day Air shipping method with insulated packaging.
NOTE: Warm Weather Shipping Policies do not apply to non-perishable shipped items like RECI-Tees, magnets & buttons.
